Committee Structures

Our committees and working groups are organized in clusters, providing a coherent chain of command, while at the same time maintaining a high degree of accountability and simplicity among their members, which helps us to clearly define roles and responsibilities.

Committee naming conventions

At PhilTech Entrepreneurship Academy, the parent committee of each cluster actually belongs to PhilTech Enterprises (Pty) Ltd, whether it is the Research Committee, the Audit Committee, the Academic Committee, or the Finance Committee, etc.

Management Committee, Advisory, Project and Operating Groups

Such entities are designed by our board of Directors to address general problems, or set of specific issues. Also, our Management Committee and Advisory Groups are implemented in such a way that they have an indefinite existence as well as relatively stable memberships. However, they all are primarily concerned with managerial and organizational synchronization. We also run other important groups such as Project Groups and Operating Groups. Project Groups are concerned with specific tasks to be completed within teams in order to solve particular issues pertaining to the activities of PhilTech Entrepreneurship Academy. On the other hand, operating groups are more concerned with strengthening the operational processes by adding business value to the organization as a whole. In addition, Operating Groups have a strong focus on adding value to the decision support system of PhilTech Entrepreneurship Academy.

Please note that besides the reports of our  Management Committee and Advisory Groups, all other reports are in the public domain and therefore be accessible to all.
