Council

First of all, the Council governs PhilTech Entrepreneurship Academy and is constituted according to the set of bylaws designed and enforced by PhilTech Enterprises.

Among others, the main duties of the council include but may not be restricted to determining the mission, objectives, strategic goals and policies for the sustainability of the long-term growth of the institution. Further, the Council is entire dedicated to creating an environment that is conclusive for blended learning at all times for all enrolled Entrepreneurs.

Also, the Council holds the responsibility of building and maintaining the financial stability of the institution, a healthy and workable environment for all its attendants.

 

Accountability of the Council and its members

The council and all its members are ultimately accountable to all shareholders and voting board members through the Chief Executive Officer of PhilTech Enterprises.

 

Composition

The active members of the council at PhilTech Entrepreneurship Academy consist of:

• Executive Directors of the board with voting power.
• Some privileged employees of the institution.
• Savvy Entrepreneurs
• Persons who are not necessarily staff or even Entrepreneurs, appointed by a wide range of parties.

The Council membership for the period 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2020 will be announced publicly and the term of appointment is currently set at 2 years unless stated otherwise.
